SUMMARY:When Life Stretches Us:  An Ignatian Retreat on Resilience
DESCRIPTION:WOMEN IGNATIAN –  This Ignatian retreat on resilience invites participants to receive resilience not first as a personal achievement\, but as a grace given by God and nurtured through relationship with God.   Through prayer and reflection\, retreatants are helped to notice how resilience grows as they learn to remain faithful in moments of struggle\, discouragement\, and uncertainty\, rather than fleeing from them. Scripture offers rich models of resilience—figures such as Hannah\, David\, Job\, and Jesus himself—who trust God amid trial and allow suffering to deepen\, rather than diminish\, their freedom. In the Ignatian tradition\, resilience is strengthened by honest self-awareness\, discernment\, and attentiveness to God’s presence in both consolation and desolation.    Ultimately\, the retreat reveals resilience as essential to growing trust and hope\, enabling us to persevere with confidence that God is at work even when outcomes are unclear. \n\n\n\nFacilitated by:   Fr. Kevin Kelly\, SJ  \n\n\n\n\n\nFlyer-April10-12\,2026.K.KellyDownload

SUMMARY:Healing and Forgiveness: How Identity Lies and Wounds Keep us Stuck\, and How to Move Forward
DESCRIPTION:DAY OF REFLECTION FOR WOMEN:    Click on the above heading for more information and registration.  \n\n\n\n“I have come that they might have life and have it to the fullest.” (John 10:10) \n\n\n\nLiving fully as human beings is difficult when we have experienced hurts that lead to false beliefs which keep us from finding true freedom in Christ. By exploring the desires of the human heart and the wounds and identity lies that keep us bound in unforgiveness and other sins or vices\, we will look at how the Sacraments\, God’s grace\, and the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit can bring health\, healing and restoration so we can live the abundant life we are called to. \n\n\n\nJoin us for this interactive workshop reflection day of fellowship\, refreshment and insightful tools. Come away for a while from the busyness of life to pray\, reflect\, enjoy the lovely grounds\, connect\, share a meal\, and celebrate Mass with other Women of Faith. \n\n\n\nFor more information and to register\, please contact Veronica at boutiquecoachingconnections@gmail.com. \n\n\n\nFacilitated by:  Veronica Lujbicic \n\n\n\n\n\nDOR-Veronica-Mar.21\,2026Download

SUMMARY:Soul-Making by Grace: Encountering God's Love through Meditations on Purgatory
DESCRIPTION:MEN IGNATIAN –  In recent decades\, purgatory has come to occupy a more marginal place within Catholic spirituality—viewed by some primarily as a place of suffering\, by others as a source of superstition\, and largely ignored by many. In his recent book\, Soul-Making by Grace\, Fr. Matthew Hendzel argues for the continuing relevance of purgatory within the life of faith. Challenging the idea that purgatory is concerned solely with the notion of divine satisfaction and painful self-reformation\, he proposes a broader vision of how God’s grace may be at work during this time—one that includes not only purification\, but also spiritual growth and even healing.  \n\n\n\nDrawing on the themes of this book\, Fr. Matthew’s retreat will invite participants to explore how these “purgatorial” dynamics may already be present in their own lives. Through a series of talks\, periods of prayer\, and guided reflection\, participants will be encouraged to consider how God might be using the ordinary—and sometimes difficult—experiences of life as invitations to a deeper awareness of divine love\, and to a more generous response to that love. \n\n\n\nFacilitated by  Fr. Matthew Hendzel\, SJ  \n\n\n\n\n\nFlyer-March20-22\,2026(Hendzel)Download

SUMMARY:An Ignatian Experience of Sacred Earth
DESCRIPTION:WOMEN IGNATIAN –  The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius reveal\, in and for a new time\, a vibrant ecological dimension. In particular\, the Exercises invite us to deepen our contemplative experience of Creation revealing God the loving Creator\, the historical Jeus\, Incarnate Word of God and the eternally present Cosmic Christ. They call for an ecological conversion in this\, our time of global crisis. \n\n\n\nDuring the retreat we will reflect together on the unfolding and nurturing dynamic of the Spiritual Exercises toward deeper intimacy with God in daily life. From the heart of prayer\, we will listen for God’s call for right relationship and action for the Earth in a spirit of trust\, gratitude and joy. All welcome to a time of “universal sacredness”.  \n\n\n\nFacilitated by Sr. Mary Rowell\, csj  \n\n\n\n\n\nFlyer-March13-15\,2026(Sr.Mary)Download

SUMMARY:What is your Sensory Preference? Discover how God uniquely speaks to you.
DESCRIPTION:DAY OF REFLECTION FOR WOMEN: Click on the Above Heading for More Information and Registration. \n\n\n\nCome away for a day of renewal\, insight\, and connection with other women of faith. Together\, we’ll explore how God communicates with each of us — through visual\, auditory\, or kinesthetic ways. Uncover the method you most naturally receive God’s love\, guidance\, and presence.Grow in understanding of your sensory preference and how it shapes your relationship with the Lord. “Whatever is received is received in the mode of the receiver.” — St. Thomas Aquinas \n\n\n\nHumans typically learn and process information through all our five senses\, but generally favour one or two. Sensory preference refers to the type of stimuli that registers in your brain most quickly\, intensely and efficiently. God desires to relate to us through our natural preferences. \n\n\n\nTake this free Temperaments quiz: http://www.temperamentquiz.com and please bring the results to the retreat day. We will uncover your distinct prayer style through examining your motivations\, external distractions\, internal blocks\, and optimal environments as they relate to your sensory preference. A great way to prepare for Advent. \n\n\n\nFacilitated by: Veronica Lujbicic \n\n\n\n\n\nDOR-Veronica-November 22\,2025Download

SUMMARY:Praying with Suffering.
DESCRIPTION:WOMEN IGNATIAN – Suffering is something every human will have to encounter along their life journey. Some will carry big crosses and some small. Sometimes we are the ones who endure it and sometimes we knowingly or unknowingly will bring suffering to others. Suffering is meaningless\, even inhumane by itself\, but when we let the light of God shine upon it\, everything changes. \n\n\n\nFacilitated by Fr. SUMMARY:The Wisdom of Henri Nouwen: Insights to guide one's spiritual journey.
DESCRIPTION:WOMEN IGNATIAN: Henri Nouwen was a Dutch-born Catholic priest\, a professor\, and a psychologist\, as well as a spiritual guide and writer. He wrote with great openness about faith\, spiritual development\, prayer\, and other aspects of our journeys with God. One of his greatest gifts was his ability to help people connect with their vulnerabilities in order to grow in trust and intimacy. \n\n\n\nThis retreat will provide prayer support for some of the common themes in Nouwen’s writing being the beloved of God\, giving and receiving forgiveness\, growing in hope\, and accepting one’s limitations. The focus will be on providing concrete ways to incorporate these ideas into our prayer lives. \n\n\n\n Facilitated by Fr. Kevin Kelly\, SJ \n\n\n\n\n\nFlyer-Oct.24-26\,2025K.KellyDownload
